The Caulfield to Dandenong Level Crossing Removal Project won both the Government Partnership Excellence Award and the inaugural Industry Choice Award, reflecting the project’s success on many fronts. 

The independent judging panel selected the project based on its technological innovation and sophisticated engagement with stakeholders, noting that the project’s success was fundamental in underscoring the benefits of the wider level crossing removal program to other affected communities.
