The Shore School Green Facade began with the installation of 24 custom LLDPE planter boxes designed and installed by Fytogreen. These lightweight planters were engineered for elevated use and included integrated irrigation and drainage to support healthy plant growth. From the start, the goal was to soften the large sports facility and connect it more naturally to the surrounding landscape.

In the early years, the images show the planters during their establishment phase, with young plants beginning to climb and spread. Over time, the vegetation has grown into a dense, mature, and visually striking green facade. As a result, the building now benefits from improved shade, better microclimate performance, and a stronger connection to the natural environment.

Fytogreen has also provided ongoing maintenance since installation, ensuring the system continues to thrive. Through regular care, the facade has developed into the lush, full living surface seen today. This long-term success highlights the strength of the planter system, the horticultural strategy, and the value of consistent maintenance.
