Fytogreen designed, fabricated and installed a custom fire‑compliant aluminium louvre planter boxes to the louvre systems to form a living green screen along the façade of Mater Hospital in Wollstonecraft NSW.

The void planters introduces vertical greenery that softens the building elevation, improves outlooks from internal rooms and enhances the visual identity of the hospital precinct.

The system consists of 20 fire‑compliant irregularly shaped planter boxes engineered to a depth of 750mm, including a 150mm void supporting a selection of climbing plant species chosen for façade performance, durability and low maintenance.

This green façade brings life to the exterior architecture while maintaining compatibility with the strict safety, fire and operational requirements of a hospital environment.  Fytogreen managed end‑to‑end delivery including design, custom fabrication, installation and maintenance.
