The Green Square Development, a project that epitomizes sustainable urban living, has incorporated a Fytogreen feature green facades on Building B extending over 145m2, enhancing both the southern and northern exteriors with lush vegetation.
Southern Facade: Spanning from levels 2 to 7, the southern facade is adorned with 66 planters. Northern Facade: The northern facade, covering levels 3 to 12, is equipped with 180 planters.
These green facades utilize Tensile Trellis system and Vertical Jakob Wire Ropes, which provides robust support for the plants while allowing them to thrive. A system known for its durability and minimal visual impact, ensuring that the focus remains on the greenery.
These green facades are not just aesthetically pleasing but also contribute to the building’s energy efficiency, air purification, and biodiversity.

Fytogreen was responsible for designing, supplying and installing 600 custom aluminium planters, numerous green walls and roof gardens to create lush green infrastructure across four buildings of the Green Square development.
The Green Square precinct is one of the largest urban renewal projects in Australia and when complete, the development will aim to deliver over 1,600 apartments, along with office and retail space and a substantial public domain within the Green Square Town Centre.
