Nando’s Munno Para features two extensive green roofs, continuing Nando’s national commitment to sustainable restaurant design and green infrastructure. Delivered as part of a broader rollout across multiple Nando’s sites, the project demonstrates how lightweight green roofs can be successfully integrated into high‑performance hospitality environments.
Located at the corner of Main North Road and Curtis Road in Munno Para, South Australia, the roof gardens span a combined 36.5 m² and are engineered with a 160 mm profile depth. The system supports 302 plants across 29 resilient species, selected for durability in exposed rooftop conditions and low ongoing maintenance.
In addition to enhancing the building’s visual appeal, the green roofs help reduce heat, improve stormwater management, delivering long‑term environmental and operational benefits.
As one of several Nando’s green roof installations delivered by Fytogreen, the Munno Para project highlights the scalability and performance of engineered green roof systems across a national hospitality portfolio.
