The home-owner’s vision was to create a simple, environmentally sound roof garden on the roof of their home extension in the beach-side suburb of Mona Vale.

Although the garden has an irrigation system installed, it was established purely on rainfall and with cuttings from the sand dunes across the road.
After 12 months the irrigation system has never been used.

Within a short time the garden was established, providing visual amenity for the owners
