Fytogreen delivered custom aluminium planter boxes and rooftop gardens for the Scape Leicester Street student accommodation in Carlton—Australia’s first student housing project to achieve a world-leading 6 Star Green Star Design & As Built rating.

Working with Kapitol Group, BayleyWard, and Human Habitats, Fytogreen installed 69 m² of landscaped areas across the ground floor, level 8, and level 14, featuring 23 plant species and 603 individual plants.

Each planter was engineered for durability and sustainability, incorporating lightweight growing media, advanced drainage, and efficient subsurface irrigation.

Finished with premium AkzoNobel powder coating and complemented by slate stone mulch and Tuscan toppings, these green spaces enhance amenity while supporting Scape’s commitment to renewable energy and ecological design.
