Fytogreen designed and installed 52m2 of Engineered floating gardens on Lake Zot at the University of New England in Armidale, NSW.

The floating wetlands have positive buoyancy, Fytogreen developed this modular system that remains above the waterline when walked on, meaning maintenance is easy.

With independent engineering certification, the system is expandable up to greater than 500m2 as a vegetated pontoon if required.

The vegetative pontoons at Lake Zot is home to 360 plants comprising of 8 different species.  The images you see were taken at the time of installation.
