Installed in 2016, the indoor green walls at Caroline Chisholm Catholic College show just how well designed living infrastructure can stand the test of time.

Four FytoWall green walls, totalling 17m2 were thoughtfully integrated into the internal corridor, bringing lush greenery into the everyday school experience for students and staff.

Ten years on, the green walls continue to thrive, with mature plants reaching impressive scale and density. Featuring 42 carefully selected plant species and 389 plants, the installation delivers lasting visual impact while supporting wellbeing, comfort and connection to nature within the learning environment.

Ongoing Maintenance

Fytogreen continues to maintain the green walls, providing tailored horticultural care to support long‑term performance.

Regular servicing includes irrigation and fertigation management, plant health monitoring, pruning and system optimisation to suit changing conditions as the plants mature.

This ongoing, hands‑on approach has supported the success of the installation, ensuring the green walls remain healthy, resilient, and visually strong years after installation.
