Completed in October 2024, Civic Lake in South Morang now boasts two stunning floating wetlands created using eight Fytogreen floating garden modules. Covering a total area of 32 square meters, these wetlands are planted with over 240 plants, including 13 different species, many of which are flowering, to enhance both the ecological and aesthetic value of the area.

The primary objectives of the project are to improve the visual appeal of the lake, create a vibrant and sustainable habitat for local wildlife, and act as a natural water purifier.

Fytogreen’s floating wetlands provide a safe nesting and thriving habitat for local wildlife, contributing to increased biodiversity. Additionally, the wetlands help improve water quality by filtering pollutants and providing habitat for beneficial microorganisms. With a surface area capable of 100% vegetation growth, these modules support more plant and root growth, offering greater benefits than many standard systems.

The photos show the gardens freshly installed, but our advanced plant system ensures rapid establishment and strong resistance to bird pressure during establishment. We are excited to see the floating wetlands settle in and thrive in the coming months.
