Located at 242 Bourke Street in Melbourne's CBD, the Telstra Bourke Street Flagship has been designed as a destination rather than a traditional retail environment.

Combining technology, service and hospitality, the space reimagines the customer experience through a series of immersive and highly curated environments. Working alongside The General Store and lighting designer Aglo, Fytogreen delivered an integrated planting solution that contributes to the store's welcoming atmosphere and strengthens the connection between people, place and nature.

At the heart of the Telstra Bourke Street Flagship is a custom-designed 8m² Billabong planter, engineered as a fully irrigated interior landscape feature. Constructed using a waterproof EPDM liner system, Hydrocell lightweight growing media and automated irrigation, the planter accommodates 66 plants across seven carefully selected species, anchored by a feature Ficus longifolia.

Integrated horticultural lighting, developed in collaboration with Aglo, supports long-term plant performance and ensures the planting remains a healthy and enduring feature within this next-generation retail environment.
