The 500 Bourke Street project in Melbourne, completed in December 2023, involved the integration of extensive greenery by Fytogreen Australia. Collaborating with ISPT, Fender Katsalidis, and Tract.  The transformation is a testament urban landscaping and bilphillic design.

Fytogreen played a pivotal role in transforming the building into a lush, green oasis with the installation of over 150 planter boxes and 920 plants. Utilizing a combination of irrigated, reservoir, aluminium and balustrade planters installed to create the lush, vibrant atmosphere.

The lobby is home to several reservoir planters, adding a touch of nature to the entrance, the inviting outdoor courtyard is home to a green façade complete with a trellis wire system, contributing to the building’s sustainability.

The forum area was made more inviting with a variety of automatically irrigated planters, while the wellness pavilion had strategically placed units to promote tranquility, ensuring greenery throughout the building.

The meeting rooms received 21m2 of greenery creating a more pleasant and productive environment.  Plus 11m2 of custom aluminium drop-in planters were designed for the lower mezzanine, adding a bespoke touch.

The upper mezzanine balustrade was adorned with additional units, seamlessly integrating greenery into the building’s architecture.
