Fytogreen was proud to provide a transformative green infrastructure solution for the St Clare / Assunta aged care development at Our Lady of Consolation in Rooty Hill, NSW. The project included the installation of roof gardens, pre-grown hoarding units, trees, turf, and planters across 192.49 m², designed to enhance the wellbeing of residents and staff through immersive natural spaces.

The scope of works was delivered in two stages. Stage 1 focused on the ground floor staff area, featuring four pre-grown hoarding units with sub-surface drip irrigation. Stage 2 expanded the green footprint with 59 hoarding units—17 with non-climbable mesh and 42 with standard mesh—and a 123.6 m² roof garden incorporating planters, extensive green roof profiles, and a diverse planting palette of over 580 plants, including flowering perennials, native grasses, and feature trees.

Designed to connect people with nature, the rooftop garden offers accessible pathways, seating zones, and sculptural elements that create a peaceful retreat within the aged care environment.
