Engaged for our specialist knowledge in complex green façade systems, Fytogreen was appointed to take over an underperforming and deteriorating installation at Triptych Village Vines. The existing façade had been struggling for several years, with inconsistent growth, plant losses, and a lack of species suitability for the site conditions.

In 2022, Fytogreen commenced a full diagnostic review and rectification program. This involved:

• Assessing existing planter infrastructure and irrigation functionality
• Identifying the root causes of decline
• Designing a new planting strategy tailored to the site’s light levels, orientation, and microclimate
• Carefully retaining viable Cissus antarctica where appropriate, while re‑planting failing planters with a new, resilient species mix including Hoya carnosa and Hoya pubicalyx
• Following rectification, Fytogreen implemented an ongoing maintenance program to stabilise growth, ensure long‑term health, and guide the façade back to full coverage.

Just six months after rectification, the transformation is clearly visible: consistent, lush vertical growth, improved density, and a revitalised façade now performing as originally intended.

Today, the Village Vines stand as a strong example of Fytogreen’s capability to bring specialised horticultural insight, technical problem‑solving, and ongoing care to complex projects that require expert intervention.
