Fytogreen designed, consulted, and installed a series of eight fire‑compliant Fytofelt green walls totalling 306m² for the landmark 360 Queen Street development in Brisbane’s Golden Triangle. Featuring 101 plant species and 5,642 plants, these elevated gardens create a bold visual statement across the façade while supporting the project’s commitment to wellness, sustainability, and biophilic design.

During the early stages of the project, Fytogreen delivered comprehensive green infrastructure consultancy, including fire engineering support, wind‑exposure analysis, light‑level modelling, and detailed microclimate assessment. This ensured the plant palette was carefully matched to the challenging conditions of a subtropical CBD high‑rise and that the façade‑integrated system met stringent compliance requirements.

The FC Fytofelt system, certified fire‑compliant to AS1530.3, was engineered to integrate seamlessly with the tower’s articulated façade, providing a lightweight, flexible, and durable solution. Pre‑grown in Fytogreen’s nursery for immediate visual impact, the curated species selection offers year‑round interest, resilience under wind loading, and ecological diversity suited to Brisbane’s climate.

The result is a collection of vibrant, sustainable, and lush green walls that soften the building’s architectural form while contributing to improved air quality and enhanced occupant wellbeing. Fytogreen will continue to provide specialist maintenance and remote irrigation monitoring, ensuring long‑term plant health and ongoing visual appeal.
